Jimmy Buffett’s Escape to Margaritaville

Set sail for paradise in this high-spirited jukebox musical where the sun is hot, the drinks are cold, and the music is pure island magic. Escape to Margaritaville brings the beloved songs of Jimmy Buffett to life in a tropical romantic comedy filled with laughter, heart, and over-the-top fun.

At the laid-back Margaritaville Hotel, a beachside bar and resort somewhere between the Caribbean and your wildest vacation dreams, Tully, a charismatic musician and bartender, spends his days strumming Buffett tunes for tourists seeking sand and solace. When a career-driven scientist named Rachel and her best friend Tammy arrive for a much-needed getaway, their worlds collide in a whirlwind of romance, tequila, and toe-tapping tunes.

Featuring more than two dozen of Buffett’s greatest hits including “Cheeseburger in Paradise,” “Fins,” “Volcano,” “Why Don’t We Get Drunk,” “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere,” and of course the iconic “Margaritaville”—the show is a joyful celebration of Buffett’s breezy, feel-good sound and his devoted Parrothead following. It’s a party in paradise that invites audiences to kick off their shoes, singlong, and discover that sometimes the best way to move forward is to leave yourworries behind.

Whether you’re a lifelong Buffett fan or just ready for a musical vacation, Escape to Margaritaville is a beach party blast that delivers good vibes, great music, and a healthy dose of islandphilosophy: “Breathe in, breathe out, move on.”

“Buffett’s breezy tunes remain irresistible, and the audience leaves humming everyword.” — Chicago Tribune
